Formed in June 2002, Carrowmore Archers is a Voluntary Organisation that has grown to be a popular club in the Field Archery scene in Ireland. Carrowmore Archers is now affiliated to the Society Of Irish Field Archers (SIFA)
We promote Field Archery in Ireland by holding monthly have a go sessions for anyone interested in the sport. The best way of hearing about our training sessions is to post a message on our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CarrowmoreArchers/ alternatively send an email using the form on our contact page.
Carrowmore Archers work closely with the Sligo Sports Disability Partnership and Sligo Rehab Centre. Carrowmore Archers were fortunate in obtaining a grant from the National Lottery to assist in the funding of equipment.
We have been very fortunate to obtain club facilities within the grounds of the Percival Family Estate of Temple House. Roderick Percival has been very generous to make space available for us to put up an indoor and outdoor shoot area for practice plus a full 18-target 3D Field Archery Course in a fabulous mature beech woodlands overlooking Templehouse Lake. To this we have recently added an 8 stand multi target short course all using small 3d animal targets.
