Formed in June 2002, Carrowmore Archers is a Voluntary Organisation that has grown to be a popular club in the Field Archery scene in Ireland. Carrowmore Archers is now affiliated to the Society of Irish Field Archers (SIFA).

We promote Field Archery in Ireland by holding monthly “Have A Go” sessions for anyone interested in the sport. The best way of hearing about our training sessions is to post a message on our facebook page, or send an email using the form on our contact page.

Carrowmore Archers work closely with the Sligo Sports Disability Partnership and Sligo Rehab Centre. We’re also grateful to have received a grant from the National Lottery to assist in the  funding of equipment.

We have been very fortunate to obtain club facilities within the grounds of the Perceval Family Estate of Temple House, near Ballymote. In this beautiful place we have erected an indoor and outdoor shoot area for practice, plus a full 18-target 3D Field Archery Course in a fabulous mature beech woodlands overlooking Templehouse Lake. To this we have recently added a 10 stand multi target short course, using small 3d animal targets.
